Welcome Center 2.0 – comprehensive support for foreign students and employees

Welcome Center 2.0 is a modern support space for students, doctoral students, researchers, and foreign employees of the University of Zielona Góra. Our goal is to facilitate the process of adaptation to a new environment and to provide professional service at every stage of your stay.

Thanks to the “Welcome to UZ 2.0” project, worth PLN 549,550, we are developing and modernizing our existing activities, creating a support system in line with European standards.

What does Welcome Center 2.0 offer?

1. Expanded service infrastructure

A modern Welcome Center and an additional Welcome Point information desk on Campus A, available to all international visitors.
Dedicated places where you can get help with academic, administrative, and everyday life matters.

2. Formal and substantive preparation

Support in procedures related to recruitment, accommodation, residence permits, and studies.
Language training (60 hours, levels A1, A2, B1, B2 according to CEFR) and soft skills training for UZ employees (intercultural communication, empathy, stress management) completed with an exam and certification.

3. Support in everyday life

Individual counseling and constant contact in case of questions or problems during your stay at UZ.
Building a friendly academic environment based on openness, equality, and diversity.

4. International promotion of UZ

Participation in education fairs and the Study in Poland program, which support the university's recognition around the world.
Modern promotional materials (leaflets, brochures, films), available in many languages and communication channels.
