PROM – Short-term Academic Exchange

PROM Project Overview

  • Duration: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026 (12 months)
  • Budget: 999,450 PLN
  • Main Goal: Strengthen internationalization of Uniwersytet Zielonogórski (UZ) through 107 short-term academic mobilities.

Target Groups

  • Incoming (IN):
    • 31 international students
    • 9 international staff (minimum PhD level)
  • Outgoing (OUT):
    • 41 Polish students
    • 3 Polish doctoral candidates
    • 23 Polish staff (5 administrative, 18 academic/teaching)

Activities

  • Courses, workshops, summer/winter schools, research projects, teaching, conferences, study visits.
  • Average mobility duration: 9 days.

Recruitment & Inclusion

  • Open, transparent, continuous recruitment.
  • Equal access, non-discrimination, support for participants with disabilities (assistants, interpreters, adapted forms).
  • Weekly selection committees, bilingual promotion (PL/EN).

Support & Infrastructure

  • Welcome Center for incoming participants.
  • Individual logistical and formal support.
  • Language and cultural adaptation assistance.

Expected Outcomes

  • Development of intercultural, linguistic, and professional competencies.
  • Strengthened international partnerships and long-term cooperation.

Sustainability & Impact

  • Integration of best practices into UZ’s permanent offer.
  • Dissemination of results through publications, seminars, and reports.

Geographic Scope

  • Partner countries include: Romania, Portugal, Spain, Malta, Slovakia, USA, Germany, India, Kenya, Vietnam, Turkey, Ukraine.

Evaluation

  • 4-stage learning outcome verification process.
  • Minimum 80% of participants expected to confirm competency development.
